Who is the Ideal candidate for Kybella?

Kybella is beneficial for both men and woman that are unhappy with the excess fat under the chin, or a patient that wants a nice defined jaw line.The ideal candidate is healthy, understands the procedure, and has a realistic expectation of the results from the procedure.

What will the consultation for Kybella be like?

Brittany Lane White ARNP, and the patient will have a thorough consultation before any treatment. Brittany will examine your skin, address your concerns, explain all the procedures we offer, she will also go over the benefits, risks, price, how many procedures you will need and what to expect during and after treatment. She will then review your medical history including current medications, and answer any question you may have. During this consultation Brittany then will see if Kybella is the best product to treat your area of concern. At Aesthetic Lane we do book you enough time to get treatment that day if you choose to do so.

Who will inject my Kybella?

A certified nurse practitioner will be doing all of your treatments here at Aesthetic Lane. You will meet with the NP to discuss you concerns and goals, and she will be able to help you make a decision on what treatment and product are best for you. Juvederm-XC, Juvederm Ulta Plus, Voluma, Restylane, Restylane lift and Restylane Silk are all examples of HA fillers that we use to restore facial harmony here at Aesthetic Lane.

How does dermal Kybella work?

Kybella works by permanently dissolving the fat cells in the treated area. The solution that is injected breaks down the fat, which is then safely absorbed by the body.

Will the Kybella procedure be painful?

We will make sure you are comfortable during the entire injection process, we use ice to numb the treatment area as well as breathing techniques to ensure maximum comfort.

What should I expect before and after my Kybella treatment?

Before having a treatment such as Kybellayou will want to make sure you avoid the following: Alcohol 48 hrs prior, blood thinners, vigorous exercise 12 hours prior, and fish oil. These are not a contraindication, but they will increase you risk of bruising. The most common side effects of Kybella include swelling, bruising, numbness and areas of hardness in the treatment area.

How many Kybella treatment sessions will I need?

The number of treatments varies from patient to patient depending on the treatment area. Most patients see improvement in their submental fat and profile after just one to two treatments.
